Administrative Professional Day
is April 21st 2010
Administrative Professional Week observed April 18 through April 24th.
Administrative Professionals Day/Week is one of the largest workplace observances besides major holidays.
It is celebrated worldwide, bringing together millions of people for community events and individual corporate activities.
You might remember this day by another name. “Secretaries Day” was changed in the year 2000, to keep up to date with changing job titles and expanding responsibilities of today’s administrative workforce.
Today, there are more than 4 million secretaries and administrative assistants working in the United States, according to U.S. Department of Labor statistics.
Thank you gifts are often given to recognize administrative and support staff.
Flowers and Plants are often nice thank you tokens to last the through the Administrative Professional week. Depending on the number of Assistants you buy for, spending 15-45 dollars per assistant is the usual trend. Besides Flowers and Plants for the Desk, Pencil holders and small desk gift sets also make for great Administrative gifts. If you can incorporate both ideas, you’ve created a well thought out gift. For example, a floral container that can used as a pencil holder later.
Practicality is a big deal in today’s gifts…
but special treats taste so good!
So, give ‘em the best of both worlds!
We’ve thought up another delicious idea for Administrative’s Professional’s Day.
A small spring bouquet in a coffee mug with a charged up coffee shop gift card tucked in! Who doesn’t love coffee?
We can create this great gift for 20-25 dollars.
(this includes the gift card amount of $5-10 )
Call us about this gift idea, we’re not showing it on our website.
Have a Great Administrative Professional Week!!!
